What is Loafyn?

Loafyn is a personal bread baking journal. You can save formulas, log bakes with photos and notes, track starters, manage pantry stock, schedule bake plans, run multi-stage oven timers, and review insights from your baking history.

Do I need an account?

No. Loafyn does not use Loafyn accounts. Your data is stored locally on your device.

How do notifications work?

Loafyn uses local notifications only — for bake plan reminders, ferment timeline steps, and bake timer stage alerts. Enable notifications in iOS Settings if you want alerts. Timer countdowns also run on screen while the app is open.

What are Loafyn Coins?

Coins are an in-app currency for optional premium actions such as exporting PDFs, saving HD recipe cards, or expanding formula slots. You can earn a small daily bonus and purchase additional coin packs in the Shop.

How do in-app purchases work?

Coin packs are sold through Apple’s App Store as consumable purchases. After you buy coins, they are added to your balance and spent when you use premium features inside the app.

All payment processing is handled by Apple. For receipt or billing issues, check Settings → Apple ID → Purchase History or contact Apple Support.

I was charged but did not receive coins

Try force-quitting and reopening Loafyn. If your balance still looks wrong, email support@loafyn.app with the approximate purchase time and the coin pack you bought. Do not include sensitive payment details.

How do I delete my data?

Open Loafyn → Me → Clear All Data. You can also delete individual formulas, logs, starters, plans, and pantry items inside their respective screens.

Camera, photos, or microphone access is denied

Go to iOS Settings → Loafyn and enable Camera, Photos, or Microphone as needed. Loafyn will guide you there when a feature requires permission.

What iOS version is required?

Loafyn requires iOS 15.0 or later.
